SMS Text Messaging Policy
Movement Solutions uses SMS text messaging through RingCentral for scheduling confirmations, appointment reminders, and care coordination communications.
Opt-In Consent
By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our intake form, you agree to receive text messages from Movement Solutions. Your consent is not a condition of receiving care.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your care schedule. You may receive messages for:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Schedule changes or cancellations
- Care coordination follow-ups
- Practice updates relevant to your care
Opt-Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You can opt back in by texting START or by contacting us directly.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Movement Solutions does not charge for text messages.

HIPAA Compliance
As a healthcare provider, we comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Protected health information (PHI) is handled in accordance with federal regulations. A full Notice of Privacy Practices is provided at the start of care.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data storage and secure communication channels.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared with healthcare providers involved in your care with your consent, or as required by law.
Practice Policies
Cancellation Policy
We require 24-hour advance notice for all cancellations and reschedules. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full session rate. We understand emergencies happen — please communicate as early as possible.
Payment
Movement Solutions is a private-pay (out-of-network) practice. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards.
Insurance Reimbursement
A superbill is provided after each visit so you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance plan. We recommend contacting your insurer to understand your out-of-network benefits.
Scheduling & Consistency
Lance works with a small number of clients at a time so every session gets full attention. Resilience Track clients have recurring session times held for them. Repeated cancellations may affect your scheduling priority.
