Strength later in life

Capacity is something you keep by using it, and it can be built at any point in life. What changes over time is not whether strength is possible but how it needs to be loaded: more attention to timing and coordination, more respect for recovery, and a clearer reason for every exercise.

Most people who tell me they need to get stronger need better coordination first; the strength follows once the body is efficient. The posts here are about building and keeping capacity in a way that fits the rest of your life.
